ca. 1946

The soft glow and still water gives this etching a warmth of mid summer. Notice the flowers in the foreground.

  1. Anne Shannon Thompson Says:

I have this etching, it was my grandmother’s: Kenyon Shannon, who was presumably a friend of Mr. Byxbe’s. I am also trying to identify persons in photographs of hers & my grandfather’s, Palmer Shannon, and would love to see if there are any photographs of Mr Byxbe still in existence.

Have one as well, was my father’s.
